Rainy Day Engagement: Atlanta, GA

I'm totally fine with the rain crashing an engagement session when there's a sweet space near by to cuddle up in afterwards! Bailey and Dave are truly some of the most genuine and lovely people you could ever meet! A while back Dave asked me to photograph his surprise proposal...and after witnessing him wash Bailey's feet and read scripture to her...I secretly hoped they would ask me to photograph their wedding too. A love like there's runs deep...I was so happy when they did!

Enjoy Bailey and Dave's rainy day at home engagement!

Zach & Melissa: Hilton Head Engagement

The moment I started communicating with Melissa, I knew our time together was going to be incredible!  Besides the fact that they were freaking adorable...I love how they weren't afraid to love each other in front of the camera...and capturing it was so much fun!

Hurricane Matthew did a number on their wedding plans. They ended up getting married with just their closest relatives around. Later we planned for this time to sneak away and capture some beautiful photos of just the two of them together...

Heather & Fred: Hilton Head Wedding

From the second I met Fred and Heather (which was only a few minutes before we started shooting!) I knew it was going to be the most perfect day. Heather got out of the car wearing the most beautiful BHLDN gown and a gorgeous crown that looked like it was meant just for her.  (Future brides...BHLDN gowns are MADE for beach weddings! Go check them out!) Their first look was like a fairy tale...so madly in love with each other.

Their wedding ceremony on the beach was the most beautiful (and wild!) experience I had witnessed. While it didn't actually rain...we literally watched as the black clouds came rolling over us. I thought for sure they would run for cover, but they didn't...nothing could stop them from saying "I do." It was truly a magical moment!

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing these two for their sweet fall wedding! They were my last wedding of 2016 and boy was it a great one to end on! Jessica and Michael's love and joyful spirits just radiated (despite how cold and cloudy our day was!)

ENJOY!

Princess for a day...

People ask me sometimes what inspires me...this right here. My girl. My children have always been  my source of inspiration...add a simple, beautiful outfit and gorgeous (mid-morning!!) light, and I'm in heaven. She just lets me follow her...every now and then coaxing her to pick something up or stand for just a moment...I don't even care if she looks at me, I just want to capture her.

This sweet being turned 5 not long ago. Around our house, birthdays mean you can be bossy all you want (with boundaries of course). Aliza has such a sweet spirit about her, she always has. She loves and feels deeply...i love this sweet little princess.

I am so blessed to meet so many wonderful people from session to session...and this family was no exception. I was so honored when Andrea told me I was the first photographer to take photos of their sweet family. I'm crossing my fingers there are more sessions to come!

I met the sweetest family while they were on vacation at the dreamiest location. Palmetto Bluff is unlike any other! Even though we had to take cover with a bit of rain...these sweet people toughed it out!

Enjoy!

Together

It took less than 5 minutes to capture these sweet moments between these boys and their dad...moments that will be cherished forever. When dad's are WILLING to make an effort to be in the frame with their children, not only are beautiful moments captured, but the connection between a family is brought more to life! I know it's hard...you don't know what to do, or how to act...but it's this simple...BE with your kids, or wife. I know we constantly are telling mom to get in the frame...but I think it's just as important for dad to be there too.

Beach Days...

We were lucky enough to sneak over to the beach last week. It was a beautiful cloudy day and the kids were even brave enough to get in the water...even though it's freezing cold still! We love our beach days and can't wait for more!

The Palma's

From the moment I met this family I knew I would love them. Not only are they gorgeous, their love for each other just radiates.  It's not always easy creating "real" moments in front of the camera in an hour time span...but when a two year old is involved, real moments just happen, and I love it.

Meet the Palma family...(and check out their beautiful work here! They are talented photographers in Rochester!)

We couldn't have had a more beautiful evening together. The sky was blue, the lake was still. These two traveled to Bluffton to join hands in marriage...and it couldn't have been sweeter.

Hello Again

The resting period is over! I literally hadn't blogged in over a year...so my husband decided it was a great time to give my website a little face lift! Side note: In addition to this amazing photography business, we also run a business called Pixel Freez! We are a creative company that specializes in helping businesses create a look and feel they can call their own! From videography, photography, web builds and design or graphics...we would LOVE to help you!)

I have a years worth of beautiful images to share with you, but for now I'll start with just a little taste of what our winter looked like...at least 2 weeks of it. Traveling with 3 kids is never easy, but well worth it when we get to see family. Spokane has our heart...especially covered in snow!
